Presented by USD #205, Butler County Ag Day was a great field trip for students around the county. Thank you so much to the numerous sponsors, presenters, volunteers, and guests that helped make the day an exciting adventure where all students were able to see the importance of agriculture up close.

Ag in the classroom...
In 4th grade, we incorporate agriculture into our daily lessons through inquiry and project based learning. This gives our students a hands on approach at solving real world problems. In addition to our greenhouse, we have a chicken coop, goat barn, rabbit hutch and calf/steer barn. We take turns doing chores while learning about and caring for our animals.
